N62CC C-47A-DL (c/n 13798) to USAF as 43-30647 Sept1943. Converted to a DC-3-R2000 by Pan American World Airways at Brownsville TX 15Feb1955. Recently painted as C-47 Skytrain X5 aka "Virginia Ann " based at Chino.

N013NA C-47A-30-DL (c/n 9531) to USAF as 42-23669 May1943. Joined RAF as FD879. ex CF-IKD Northland Air Manitoba Canada. Flabob Express based at Flabob Ca.

N131FS TC-47B-30-DK (c/n 16172/32920) built as a Skytrain constructed by Douglas at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (US) States Army Air Force with s/n 44-76588 March 1945. ex N67PA Four Star Aviation based at San Juan PR. Ferried to Flabob in 2016 and used for spares, might become a static display.

N231GB R4D-6 (c/n 14663/26108) to the USN as 50749 Sep1944. Converted to a DC-3C in May1980. ex Monroe County Mosquito Control sprayer based at Marathon FL. Being restored at Flabob by Jim Salazar of the Lost Squadron – Greenland – Recovery.

N341A built as a DC-3A-253A (c/n 2145) registration (20-70) conv to C-41A to USAAC 1 Staff Squadron 14 September 1939. Today she is part of the Golden Age Air Tours club (The RM Group LLC) and based at Nut Tree airport.

N791HH C-47B-30-DK (c/n 16375/33123) to US ARMY Air Corps as 44-76791 April1945. ex Israel Defence AF 1434/4X-FND/034. Now belongs to the Lyon Air Museum Anaheim airport CA. Painted at D-Day Skytrain W6 – “Willa Dean”.

N8336C C-53-DO (c/n 7313) to the US ARMY Air Corps as 42-47371 June1942. to India as RAF FJ712 with 10th Air Force. Converted to a DC-3A-SIC3G in June 1955 by Executive Aircraft Services…including VIP interior and AiResearch Maximizer speed kit. Now with Benovia Winery Corp.

N45366 C-53D (c/n 11757) to USAAF as 42-68830 July1943. Converted to DC3-G202A in 1945 by PCA the Capital Airline. She belongs to the CAF Riverside and is painted in D- Day colors as M2 “D-Day Doll”.

N74589 - was piloted by Eric Zipkin, CEO of Tradewind Aviation and James Lyle, pilot and owner of "Placid Lassie". This Skytrain (c/n 9926) now affectionately called "Placid Lassie " (aka Union Jack Dak) was built in Long Beach (CA), and delivered in 1943 as a C-47A-40-DL model with tail code 42-24064 and went to the United States Army Air Corps at Baer Field near Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was assigned to the 434th Troop Carrying Group (TCG) of the 74th Troop Carrying Squadron (TCS). This unit was shipped out to England in February 1943 via the southern route: Miami, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Senegal, Morocco & around Spain to England. Based at Aldermaston in southern England, she spent her days in training for the invasion of Hitler′s Fortress Europe. Early on the morning of June 6, 1944, she and the other C-47s in her unit: towed Waco CG4A gliders over the beaches of Normandy wearing the similar colors seen today. It is likely that she also participated in dropping paratroopers during the second invasion wave. She served her unit well, performing dozens of missions supporting the invasion. She ferried fuel, ammunition, troops and other supplies to the front and evacuated the wounded back to England. During the battle of Bastogne, She dropped paratroopers and supplies to the besieged city.

NC43XX C-53D (c/n 1166)5 Delivered to USAAF as 42-68738 March1943. She was modified by TIMM Aircraft Corp to a DC-3A March 1946. Now with Thunderbird Aviation Service, features a modern full passenger (VIP) configuration and is based at Cable Airport CA.
